Terms of Service

The rules for using The Creators Wiki — how the registry may be used, how third-party platform analytics are sourced and limited, and the terms attached to paid services.

Last updated · 27 October 2026

1Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of The Creators Wiki (the "registry", "we", "us"). By browsing the registry, creating a profile or buying a paid service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the registry on behalf of a company or agency, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these terms.

2The service we provide

The registry is a discovery and verification layer. We index creator profiles, display authenticated reach and engagement metrics, publish verified campaignography, and allow verified brands to contact creators.

We are not a talent agency, a marketplace, an escrow service or a party to any agreement between a creator and a brand. We do not negotiate, invoice or guarantee any collaboration.

3Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your password secure.
  • One profile per creator or brand. Duplicate, impersonating or misleading profiles may be removed without notice.
  • You must not share, transfer or sell access to a paid account, and access may be revoked if you do.

4Creator profiles, verification and content

Creators are responsible for the information they submit — display name, handle, bio, images, location, rate card and collaboration history. Submitting false, inflated or misleading claims is a breach of these terms and may result in removal of the badge and profile.

Verification confirms that a profile is controlled by the person or team behind the connected channels. It is not an endorsement of a creator's work, conduct or commercial reliability, and it is not a background or credit check.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, resize and display that content for the purpose of operating the registry and promoting a profile within it.

5Accuracy of third-party platform analytics

Follower counts, video and post views, average reach and engagement figures are sourced from third-party platforms — principally the Instagram Graph API and the YouTube Data API — or calculated from data those APIs return. We do not generate or audit these numbers ourselves.

These figures are indicative only. Platform APIs change, throttle, backfill and occasionally return incomplete or delayed data, and a platform may count a view, a follower or an engagement differently from how a brand would. Averages are rounded and are recalculated on each sync.

Reach metrics are therefore provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any figure is complete, current, or will match the creator's own analytics dashboard or a platform's public display, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on them.

Any campaign performance figure a creator reports is a historical record of what a post delivered at the time of sync, not a forecast of future results.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-export creator contact details or analytics from the registry.
  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute registry data, or use it to build a competing database.
  • Circumvent the Pro paywall or any access control, or share unlocked contact details publicly.
  • Impersonate a creator, brand or our team, or misrepresent an affiliation.
  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content, or content you do not have the rights to use.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages to creators, or use contact details for anything other than a genuine collaboration enquiry.
  • Interfere with the registry's operation, probe its security, or attempt to access data you are not authorised to see.

8Intellectual property

The The Creators Wiki name, logo, interface, badge designs and underlying code are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Third-party brand names, logos and platform marks shown on a profile remain the property of their owners and are used to identify past collaborations.

9Creator and brand dealings

Any collaboration, negotiation, payment or contract between a creator and a brand is directly between those parties. We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, payment or legality of any collaboration, and we do not mediate disputes.

Always agree deliverables, usage rights, timelines and payment terms in writing before work begins.

10Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The registry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost reach, lost deals or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim relating to the registry is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove a profile, cancel a placement or close an account if these terms are breached, if a profile is reported and found to be misleading, or where required by law. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You may delete your profile at any time from your dashboard. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limits — will continue to apply.

12Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have.

We may update these terms as the registry evolves. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
